It is with shattered hearts that we inform you of the passing of Indiana Nitro player, Logan Gellert, who passed away Saturday morning, at the age of 13, after a long courageous battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare childhood cancer.

Logan battled this disease like he did with life and baseball; he left everything on the field.  Logan's coach, Mike Adkins said in Logan's passing, "I will always remember how strong willed he was.  No one was going to tell Logan he couldn't do something even when he was at his sickest.  Logan taught all of us how to fight.  He never gave up nor did he show you he was in pain.  The kid was special."

We ask that you keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
