9U Gold – Pat Goff

This will be Coach Goff's first year coaching in the Indiana Nitro organization. Previously, he coached youth baseball in Carmel, IN and Cincinnati, OH. In the winter months, Pat also coaches youth hockey. Pat grew up in the Cleveland are, having played baseball, football, and ice hocket in his high school. He and his wife Ashling, along with their three children recently relocated to Carmel from Cincinnati.

10U Gold – Joe Butor

Coach Butor is returning for his fourth year with Indiana Nitro. Joe was a 3 year starting varsity shortstop and pitcher in high school and led his team in every offensive category his senior year, and was selected as a first team All Lake Athletic Conference player. He was offered baseball scholarships to a few small colleges after high school but chose to pursue his Engineering Degree at Purdue instead of chasing the baseball dream. He has been coaching youth baseball for over 13 years. Coach Butor lives in Noblesville with his wife Melissa and two boys, Ben and Jack.

11U Gold – Rodney Wilson

Coach Wilson has played baseball for more than 40 years, including the IBL for the last 15 years. He played 4 years of baseball at Grand Valley State University, earning All-Conference and All-Academic honors. Through the years following college, along with playing in adult leagues, he has also coached Connie Mack, JV, middle school, and travel baseball teams. He has 23 years of teaching experience and has been a teacher in Westfield for the last 16. He currently lives in Noblesville with his wife, Jennifer, and two sons, Jaxson (13) and Cameron (16).

11U Cardinal – Mike Birsa

This will be Mike’s second year coaching in the Indiana Nitro organization. He attended St. Laurence High School and went on to play collegiately at Northern Illinois University. He was named NCAA All Region his senior year and All Conference his junior and senior seasons. While earning his degree after his college career, he was a graduate assistant for Kishwaukee Community College, coaching catchers and working with as the teams hitting instructor. He played until the age of 30 with a Chicago based team called Prairie Gravel. He has spent the last three years coaching youth baseball.  He resides in Fishers with his wife, Carla, and two children, Nathan and Logan.

11U Nitro South – Josh Parker

Coach Parker has coached baseball and other youth sports since 2013. He played baseball and football collegiately and continues to have a passion for learning about and teaching the game. Coach Parker moved to Bloomington from Arizona in 2009 and has 2 sons and lives in Bloomington with his wife Lisa.

12U Gold – Anthony Schultz

Coach Schultz played baseball at Madison-Grant High School as well as travel baseball for the Indiana Bullpen Aces growing up. During those years, Coach Schultz received lessons from Chicago White Sox area scout Mike Shirley that helped him as a player and coach. He has coached travel baseball for the last 6 years with Indiana Prospects and Indiana Nitro.

12U Cardinal – Taylor Faust

Coach Faust, 23, has played baseball since he was 5 years old. He has played competitive baseball for 9 of those years, including Indiana Nitro. While in school he played multiple sports while attending St. Jude Catholic School, and that background continued in high school where he was a varsity starter in baseball for 3 years at Roncalli HS. Coach Faust played 3 years of college baseball, with stops in Indiana and Maryland. He is working on his degree while pursuing a job involving athletics/exercise science. He has been taught by many outstanding individuals while participating on 20+ teams and has gained valuable insights from each of them.

13U Gold – Josh Medvescek

Coach Medvescek has been on the coaching staff at Zionsville High School since 2007 and is currently an assistant coach for the varsity. He has coached youth travel baseball for the past 11 years and is excited for the opportunity to coach in the Nitro organization. He was born and raised on the northwest side of Indianapolis and graduated from Pike High School as a three sport athlete in football, wrestling and baseball. He credits his high school baseball coach for teaching him the right way to play game. He received his BS in Exercise Physiology from Ball State University, and MS in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis. Coach Medvescek is currently a Regional Rehab Director with Life Care Centers of America. He and his wife, Nichole, are proud parents of Jacob, Jillian, Eli and Gabe. They currently live in Zionsville.

13U Cardinal – Nic Meyers

Coach Meyers is entering his first year with Indiana Nitro. This will also be his second year on the coaching staff at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School. He played travel baseball at a very high level throughout high school, and was the 1B and one of the top two starting pitchers at Brebeuf Jesuit. As a senior at Brebeuf, he helped lead the Braves to their first ever state championship game in school history in 2012. He went on to be a 2-way player and starter as a freshman on the Franklin College baseball team. Coach Meyers was on the President's List at Franklin and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. After undergrad, he obtained his Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State. He works as a therapist for children with Autism and other intellectual disabilities. Coach Meyers currently resides in Zionsville.

14U Gold – Isaac Turner

This will be Coach Turner's 5th year coaching, second as the head coach for Indiana Nitro's 14u Gold team. He is currently entering his 4th year as a varsity assistant at Kokomo High School, where he graduated in 2014 as an all conference outfielder. After graduating from Kokomo, he attended Anderson University where he was a member of a conference championship, while setting two defensive records. His career was cut short due to injuries and he jumped right into coaching. His philosophy is to help develop players into great athletes but more importantly better members of their community.

14U Cardinal – Michael Adkins
Coach Adkins is returning for his third year as a head coach with Indiana Nitro. Coach Adkins graduated from Westfield High School in 1995 and went on to play baseball at Glen Oaks Community College. He finished his college career at Western Michigan University with a degree in computer information systems. Coach Adkins is employed by the US Department of Defense as a lead application developer. He has coached youth and travel baseball for the last 9 years, including as a head junior high baseball coach at Traders Point Christian Academy. Coach Adkins, his wife Tonya and son Ryne (13) currently reside in Zionsville.

15U Gold – Travis Reboulet
Coach Reboulet begins his 10th year as a head coach, the last 7 with the Indiana Nitro.  He is the son of former St. Louis Cardinal and Pittsburgh Pirate, Jim Reboulet, and the nephew of former 12-year big-leaguer, Jeff Reboulet. Travis graduated from Hamilton Southeastern in 2009, attended and played baseball at Vincennes University and transferred to Purdue-Fort Wayne. He also is a former professional player himself playing in the Frontier League with the Joliet Slammers. Travis resides in Noblesville with his wife, Hannah, two dogs Buster and Theo, and is becoming a first-time father to a baby girl in December.

15U Cardinal – Chris Hebert
Coach Hebert is entering his 1st year with the Nitro organization. Although he is new to us he is not new to baseball as he has been around it his entire life. He was a walk-on at the University of Kansas where he graduated in 1997. Coached Hebert has coached in youth organizations in and around Kansas City before starting a family of his own. He now resides in Fishers, Indiana with his wife Heather and their 3 children. After growing his career, family, and coaching his kids, Coach Hebert and his family decided it was time to to follow his passion for coaching and developing players. In 2016 he joined the varsity Baseball coaching staff at Fishers High School as a Varsity Assistant Coach where he serves as 1st Base Coach and Program Infield Coach. Coach Hebert will be entering his 6th season with the Tigers this spring.

16U Gold – Mitch Gibson
Coach Gibson is going into his 5th year of coaching and 3rd summer with Indiana Nitro. Coach Gibson graduated in 2014 from Greenfield Central High School, where he was a 4 year varsity starter for the Cougars. He earned many accolades in his high school career, including All-Conference all 4 years, Most Valuable Player senior year, All-State Senior Year, and setting an IHSAA record for saves in a season with 13. After a very successful high school career, Gibson went on to play collegiately at Ball State University as a Pitcher / Middle Infielder. As a freshman and sophomore, Gibson made over 30 appearances finishing 3rd on the team in ERA. Coach Gibson graduated from Ball State in 2018 with a degree in Telecommunications. He currently works as an Insurance agent for HRM Insurance Services. Fresh out of college in 2018, Gibson served as an assistant coach for 2 years at Pendleton Heights HS before coming over to Indiana Nitro. The game of baseball is a lifestyle for the Gibson family as his dad (Mike Gibson) coached baseball for over 20 years including 11 seasons at Mt. Vernon High School, two oldest brothers, Austin & Taylor who played college baseball at Marian University, a younger brother Lucas who currently plays at Midway University, and younger brother Carson, who was a former Indiana Nitro player and Indiana Wesleyan commit. Gibson resides in Greenfield with his wife Shelby and daughters Brooklynn (5) and Hadley (2).

16U Cardinal – Ryan Burkhart
Coach Burkhart is in his 14th year of coaching and will be entering his 8th season with Indiana Nitro. Ryan spent two summers as an assistant with Nitro's heralded class of 2021 Gold team, and next summer will be his fifth stint as a head coach with Nitro. Coach Burkhart was head 7th grade coach for Carmel Clay schools for 3 years and assistant with Tipton High School for 2 seasons. Before moving to Indiana, Ryan coached for 6 years with George C. Marshall High School and Falls Church American Legion. Prior to starting his coaching career, Ryan was a four year letterman for Tri-Village High School (New Madison, OH) and was a pitcher for Defiance College for 2 years where he majored in Secondary Education; Integrated Mathematics. Ryan is a math teacher and lives in Carmel with his wife, Elizabeth. They have a son Will that attends West Clay Elementary and a preschool aged daughter named Jackie.

17U Gold – Tim Burns

Coach Burns is the very first coach Indiana Nitro had, when they started with just one 11U team in 2010, the organization’s first year. That team went on to win over 50 games and 5 championships, and amazingly, also had 11 of those 12 players go on to play at the collegiate level. He has taken two teams to Cooperstown, winning one title and falling short as a runner-up in the other. He is the organization’s founder, and to this day, his mantra of developing coaches to develop players is still his focus. Burns has more than 18 years of coaching baseball, as well as assisting coaches with training year around. Burns, a Ball State University grad, works in sales for Bally Sports Indiana (the Indiana Pacers TV Network), and is married to his wife Tammy. They have two sons, Brendan and Brock, who were both long-time Indiana Nitro players. Burns has coached more than 60 Nitro players who have gone on to play collegiately, and recently coached the 16U Gold team in 2021 to a 26-9-1 record. Burns will move up to coach the 17U Gold team in 2022.

17U Cardinal – Paul Gonzalez

Coach Gonzalez will be going into his 7th year coaching and his 2nd with Indiana Nitro. Coach Gonzalez graduated from McCutcheon High School in Lafayette, where he played 4 years and captured 2 sectional championships, a regional championship and a semi state appearance. He was offered baseball scholarships to small colleges, but instead pursued the workforce and decided to go straight into coaching travel baseball with McCutcheon. He then moved to the Indianapolis area where he coached 3 years of travel baseball with the Indiana Bulls prior to joining Indiana Nitro. He resides in Fishers with his wife Amber and his two boys, Greyson and Zayden.
